Overview
Coating Agent for Medical Devices
MPC Polymer, LIPIDURE®, for medical device coating
LIPIDURE® can be used as a coating agent for various kinds of medical devices such as artificial heart, lung, joint, and catheter.
LIPIDURE® has three functions:
- High hydrophilicity
- High biocompatibility
- Suppression of protein adsorption and cell adhesion
Also, LIPIDURE® has little lot-to-lot variation because it is a fully synthetic polymer (not derived from animal origin). We offer several product types depending on the required binding strength and target substrate.
