For site specific delivery, lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) modified with ligands are widely used. SUNBRIGHT GS-034DB2 is a functionalized PEG lipid designed for efficient ligand conjugation in LNP drug delivery systems. It features a  DBCO group linked to a PEG diacylglycarol (DSG-PEG3400), allowing click chemistry with azide-containing molecules to form a triazole structure with high selectivity under mild condition. GS-034DB2 does not have a charge that could adversely affect the stability of LNPs and is useful for developing active targeting delivery systems.
