COATSOME MS-8080LS (DSPS-Na), or 1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho-L-serine, sodium salt, is a ≥85% pure synthetic phospholipid. Featuring C18:0 fatty acids (18 carbon atoms, no double bonds, stearic acid) at both the sn-1 and sn-2 positions, DSPS-Na provides a negatively charged phosphoserine headgroup, contributing to enhanced membrane interactions and promoting electrostatic stabilization within lipid-based formulations.
