COATSOME MS-6060LS (DPPS-Na), or 1,2-Dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho-L-serine, sodium salt, is a ≥85% pure synthetic phospholipid. Featuring C16:0 fatty acids (16 carbon atoms, no double bonds, palmitic acid) at both the sn-1 and sn-2 positions, DPPS-Na provides a negatively charged phosphoserine headgroup, contributing to enhanced membrane interactions and promoting electrostatic stabilization within lipid-based formulations.
