COATSOME MS-4040LS (DMPS-Na), or 1,2-Dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho-L-serine, sodium salt, is a ≥85% pure synthetic phospholipid. Featuring C14:0 fatty acids (14 carbon atoms, no double bonds, myristic acid) at both the sn-1 and sn-2 positions, DMPS-Na provides a negatively charged phosphoserine headgroup, contributing to enhanced membrane interactions and promoting electrostatic stabilization within lipid-based formulations.
