COATSOME MG-8080LS (DSPG-Na), or 1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoglycerol, sodium salt, is a ≥99% pure synthetic phospholipid. Featuring C18:0 fatty acids (18 carbon atoms, no double bonds, stearic acid) at both the sn-1 and sn-2 positions, DSPG-Na provides a negatively charged headgroup, contributing to enhanced membrane stability and facilitating electrostatic interactions within lipid formulations.
