COATSOME MG-4040LS (DMPG-Na), or 1,2-Dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoglycerol, sodium salt, is a ≥99% pure synthetic phospholipid. Featuring C14:0 fatty acids (14 carbon atoms, no double bonds, myristic acid) at both the sn-1 and sn-2 positions, DMPG-Na provides a negatively charged headgroup, contributing to enhanced membrane stability and facilitating electrostatic interactions within lipid formulations.
