COATSOME MC-1010 (DDPC), or 1,2-Didecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine, is a ≥99% pure synthetic phospholipid. Composed of C10:0 fatty acids (10 carbon atoms, no double bonds, capric acid) at both the sn-1 and sn-2 positions, DDPC provides high membrane fluidity and flexibility, making it suitable for liposomal and lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations.
With a low phase transition temperature (Tc) of approximately -6°C, DDPC may help maintain membrane fluidity and contribute to enhanced formulation stability at lower temperatures. Manufactured using highly purified fatty acids, MC-1010 offers consistent quality suitable for pharmaceutical research and clinical applications.
