TSUYAHIME RICE BRAN EXTRACT BG™ is a liquid extract made from the bran of the premium Japanese rice variety “TSUYAHIME,” produced in Yamagata. The extract is obtained without the use of organic solvents and is derived from the residue of physically expressed rice bran oil. It appears as a light yellow to yellow‑brown liquid with a characteristic odor.

- Extracted from TSUYAHIME rice bran without the use of organic solvents
- Contains naturally occurring components such as vitamin B1, vitamin E, tocotrienol, γ‑oryzanol, ferulic acid, inositol, phytic acid, and GABA found in rice bran
- Demonstrates DPPH radical‑scavenging activity based on in‑vitro evaluations
- Shows a moisturizing effect by increasing the water content of the stratum corneum in single‑application testing
- Specification details include: pH 5.0–8.0, specific gravity 1.010–1.040, refractive index 1.380–1.410, heavy metals ≤50 ppm, arsenic ≤2 ppm, nonvolatile residue 0.5–1.5%, and residue on ignition ≤0.5%
