SUNBRIGHT® PTE-100NB

PTE-100NB is a 4-arm PEG derivative with a total molecular weight of 10 kDa (approximately 2.5 kDa per PEG arm), featuring norbornene groups at each arm terminus. The norbornene groups can readily undergo highly efficient bioorthogonal reactions with hydroximoyl chloride or tetrazine groups, enabling covalent bond formation under mild conditions. In addition, the norbornene groups can also react with thiol groups in the presence of a photoinitiator and light. The multi-arm structure and norbornene groups makes PTE-100NB particularly suitable for hydrogel formation, and other biomedical applications requiring precise and highly bioorthogonal network construction.
