SUNBRIGHT® LY-400AL3 is a Lysine branched (2-arm) aldehyde-PEG with a total molecular weight of 40 kDa (20 kDa per PEG arm). The aldehyde group selectively reacts with amine or aminooxy groups on bioactive molecules (e.g., peptides, antibodies, or other ligands). Lysine branched PEGs have already been successfully utilized in several marketed PEGylated drugs, such as PEGASYS®, MACUGEN®, and CIMZIA®, for more than a decade, demonstrating their practical utility and reliability in therapeutic applications.
