About the Product

SOFTILT® AS‑L is an amino acid‑based surfactant with the INCI name Sodium Lauroyl Methylaminopropionate. Derived from N‑methyl‑β‑alanine, a naturally occurring amino acid, it is designed to provide a balance of cleansing performance, rich foam generation, mildness, and conditioning performance.

The surfactant exhibits high foaming performance across a broad pH range and demonstrates remarkable viscosity enhancement when combined with amphoteric surfactants under mildly acidic conditions. In addition, its ability to form complexes with cationic polymers contributes to improved conditioning and smoother hair feel during rinsing.
