About the Product
DIAPON® K is a cosmetic surfactant with the INCI name Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate (and) Water. It is a taurate-based mild anionic surfactant designed for cleansing formulations requiring excellent skin compatibility, rich foam quality, and formulation flexibility.
Unlike DIAPON® K‑SF, DIAPON® K is supplied as a non-desalted paste grade. The presence of electrolytes contributes to viscosity development in cleansing systems, making it suitable for formulations where thickening performance is important.
