About the PARLEAM® Series
PARLEAM® is NOF's portfolio of Hydrogenated Polyisobutene (HPIB) emollients designed for cosmetic formulations requiring excellent sensory performance, formulation flexibility, and long-term stability.
Available across a wide viscosity range, PARLEAM® emollients enable formulators to create sensory profiles ranging from fresh and lightweight to rich and luxurious while maintaining the benefits of Hydrogenated Polyisobutene technology.
What is Hydrogenated Polyisobutene?
Hydrogenated Polyisobutene (HPIB) is a highly stable hydrocarbon emollient widely used in skin care, sun care, hair care, lip care, and color cosmetic formulations.
Compared with many conventional hydrocarbon oils, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene provides excellent oxidative stability, elegant skin feel, broad compatibility with cosmetic ingredients, and outstanding formulation flexibility.
Hydrogenated Polyisobutene is also commonly used as a synthetic alternative to squalane due to its smooth spreadability, non-greasy after-feel, and excellent stability profile.
