2. Features
- Possessing the skeleton of beta-alanine, a natural amino acid, it gives a clean and crisp finish to shampoos and soaps.
- Creates fine, rich foam even when used with hard water.
- Part of it turns acidic when used with a mild acid, increasing the packing property of the alkyl group (see figure below) and thereby enhancing foam quality, viscosity and cleaning performance.
- Excellent in forming a complex with a cationic polymer, it provides a hair conditioning effect for shampoos.
3. Applications
- Hair shampoos: SOFTILT® prevents hair tautness during rinsing, for a tangle-free, smooth finish.
- Face washes and body soaps: SOFTILT® creates fine foam and provides a natural finish to washed skin without causing tautness.
