SUNBRIGHT ME-3E050FH-EA is a pH-triggered releasable PEG derivative incorporating an acid-cleavable acetal linker, designed to release conjugated pharmaceutical substances under mildly acidic conditions (pH 4–6), such as in endosomes, lysosomes, or tumor tissues. It consists of a 5,000 Da PEG chain connected to an acid-cleavable linker that has a primary amine group.
The acetal linker remains stable at physiological pH (7.4) while selectively cleaving under acidic environments to trigger drug release. The release rate can be fine-tuned by modifying the substituents on the benzene ring.
ME-3E050FH-EA offers excellent serum stability and storage stability, making it particularly suitable for targeted drug delivery systems requiring precise control of release timing in specific biological environments.
